This component matches the original equipment starter used on compatible outboard motors and supports direct installation without modification to existing wiring or mounting points. The starter delivers consistent cranking performance in demanding marine conditions where exposure to saltwater, vibration, and temperature changes can quickly degrade lesser components. Precision-machined gears engage smoothly with the flywheel, reducing wear on both the starter and the ring gear over repeated start cycles. Every unit undergoes bench testing to confirm torque output, current draw, and engagement speed before packaging.
