The Pentair Pentek 166219 Big Clear is a 10-inch heavy duty filter housing with a 1-inch NPT connection, designed for whole house and high-flow water filtration applications. The clear Lexan sump provides visual monitoring of cartridge condition and water flow, allowing you to assess filter life at a glance without opening the housing.The housing accepts all standard 10-inch x 4.5-inch Big Blue and heavy duty filter cartridges, including sediment, carbon, and specialty options. It supports flow rates up to 15 gpm with only 1 psi pressure drop. The built-in pressure relief button allows safe depressurization before cartridge changes.Construction consists of a reinforced polypropylene cap and Lexan sump with a Buna-N o-ring seal. Overall dimensions are 13.30 x 7.28 inches. The housing is rated for operating temperatures of 40-100 degrees F and a maximum pressure of 100 psi.
