Key features

  • Ideal for Splicing and Laminating: Designed for use with metals and high surface energy (HSE) plastics.
  • Strong Bonding: Perfect for attaching metal nameplates and graphics, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
  • Durable Adhesive: High-performance acrylic adhesive maintains strength after exposure to humidity and temperature cycles. Offers excellent shear strength to prevent slippage and edge lifting.
  • Easy Application: Pre-cut for convenience with no mess. Simply peel off the poly-coated kraft paper liner and apply to a clean surface.
  • Versatile Use: Double-sided adhesive tape is excellent for bonding, mounting, holding, and attaching PEI to 3D printer beds.

Introducing the Dbstar Adhesive Transfer Tape 468MP, engineered with a robust 5.2 mil adhesive designed specifically for splicing and laminating operations involving metals and HSE plastics. Its thicker caliper enhances wet-out capability, ensuring reliable adhesion even on surfaces with slight textures or irregularities. Versatile Applications: This adhesive tape serves many purposes including a no-cut transfer paper, PEI sheet for 3D printers, 3D printer glue, double-sided Kapton tape, phenolic sheet, double-sided adhesive sheets, and PEI heated bed. Surface Preparation: For optimal bonding, ensure that bonding surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and dried before application. Application Guidelines: Apply the tape at room temperature or up to 100°F for best results. Firmly press down for about a minute to establish a secure bond. Moderate heat ranging from 100°F to 130°F can aid in developing intimate contact with the bonding surface. Environmental Conditions: This tape withstands short-term exposure to temperatures up to 400°F and intermittent longer periods up to 300°F. It shows minimal impact on adhesive performance in high humidity, remaining consistent even after a week at 90°F
