This is the new bucket from BSG with the easy to remove lid. This lid is the big advantage, no more fighting that lid skirt and bruised fingers! Lid forms a very tight seal but lets you get the lid off without disturbing the lees. Much easier than the old style paint bucket lids. These buckets are made from polypropylene, which is less porous than other types of plastic buckets, leading to a decreased risk of harboring pathogens that can contaminate your wine, beer, mead, cider, or other type of fermented food or beverage. This is a strong, light weight well made 7.9 Gallon food grade plastic primary fermentation bucket kit with airlock and drilled grommeted Lid. Nice BSG sourced bucket with volume graduations. Every unit has a drain that is threaded for our white plastic spigot (Shown in one photo, Not included). The hole comes blocked but is easily drilled with 3/8″, 1/2″ or 5/8″ bit.
