ABS DWV Coupling SCH80 Pipe Fittings, 1-1/2 Inch, 2 Count

Key features

• Easy Install Socket Connection: This 1-1/2 inch ABS Coupling features hub opening on one end and straight ending on the other for connecting two pipes with same ends. The socket ends accommodate unthreaded male pipes or fittings, ensuring seamless alignment and reducing labor-intensive threading or welding processes
• Equal-Diameter Straight Pipe Connection: 1-1/2 inch pipes fittings adapter designed for connecting and extending straight pipe sections of identical diameter via socket-and-spigot joint structure, enabling threadless assembly for rapid installation and pipeline extension
• Lightweight Material Properties: 1-1/2 inch black ABS coupling fabricated from ABS offering a 30-50% weight reduction compared to traditional metal fittings while maintaining high mechanical strength. Superior corrosion resistance against chemicals, acids, and alkalis with pH range of 2-12
• Optimized Interior Wall Design: Smooth inner surface with a roughness average of Ra less than or equal to 0.8 micrometers minimizes fluid friction losses and prevents particulate buildup for water treatment, chemical processing, and high-purity applications. Enhanced flow efficiency reduces energy consumption and maintenance frequency in long-term operations
• Quality Standards and Installation Note: Meets specifications ASTM D2661 and D3311 for quality assurance. Measure twice as this part needs to seat flush with your existing setup
• Schedule 80 DWV Compatibility: Compatible with schedule 80 PVC and ABS DWV pipes and fittings, and can be connected to other materials such as steel, copper, or cast iron using transition fittings
• Versatile Application Range: Suitable for use in cold-water pressure distribution systems including irrigation, pool and spa installations, providing reliable performance across various plumbing applications
