This owl nesting box is also designed with a 2" front overhanging roof, allowing for additional protection from the elements. Special "grip" grooves on the outer front help the adult owl gain access into the box. No perches exist outside of the box as they could provide convenient perches for predators or would expose young owlets to danger. A door on the side of the box allows for easy interior access, making clean out a simple and quick task. Simply open the door labeled Clean Out and easily replace the wood shavings inside.
