• FACTORY-SET 40/60 PSI CONTROL: This water pump pressure switch automatically starts the pump at 40 PSI cut-in and stops it at 60 PSI cut-out. The settings are adjustable, but adjustment should be performed by qualified service personnel and verified with an accurate pressure gauge.
• LOW-PRESSURE CUT-OFF LEVER: The START position is used for initial start and manual reset, AUTO for normal operation, and OFF for manual stop. This feature provides low-pressure cut-off control but is not a water-level sensor or a guarantee against dry running. Restore the water source, prime the pump and reset the switch according to the instructions.
• MOTOR LOAD & CONNECTION RATINGS: Features a 2-pole switch and 1/4 in. female NPT pressure connection. For AC motor loads, rated up to 1.5 HP at 115 VAC or 2 HP at 230 VAC for single-phase motors, and 2 HP at 115 VAC or 3 HP at 230 VAC for three-phase motors. Match the voltage, phase and horsepower to the pump nameplate.
• FOR COMPATIBLE WATER-PUMP SYSTEMS: Designed to open and close a compatible electrically driven water-pump motor circuit in response to system pressure. Before replacing an existing switch, confirm compatibility with the pump, pressure tank, piping, pressure setting, connection and electrical ratings.
• IP20 INDOOR INSTALLATION: The IP20 enclosure is intended for indoor, dry locations only and is not protected against water ingress. Disconnect and secure electrical power, verify the circuit is de-energized, and relieve all system pressure before installation, wiring, servicing or adjustment. Installation should be performed by a qualified person.
