Disconnect the fuel line, and drain the gasoline withthe shut-off valve opened to the reserve position. Remove the hood . Remove the tank from the hood assembly. b. Cleaning. It is advisable to remove the fuel shut-off valve,by unscrewing the assembly, when cleaning the gasoline tank. Cleanthe sediment bowl, screws,and valve passages as required. Cleanthe fuel line to remove any foreign material. e.
