These gas struts are built to support heavy covers and lids. Each strut has a one-piece bracket on both ends, and the ball head and bracket are closely joined to resist deformation. The ball joints rotate a full 360 degrees, so the strut moves freely as the lid opens.

For best results, select a strut slightly heavier than the lid it supports. The package includes screws and instructions for mounting.
