The General Electric WD09X29038 Dishwasher Handle is a door grip assembly part that is attached to the door for the appliance to open and close the door assembly. It is attached to the exterior door panel, fastened to an interior mounting stud/bracket and coupled to the door frame to provide a firm handle for hand-cranking. The handle is made in accordance with the door locking mechanism for correct locking when closing and safe release when opening the door. It ensures proper operation of the wash, rinse and drying cycle by keeping the door access of the front access panel controlled and maintained.
