Honeywell WT8840C1000 Rheem Water Heater Gas Valve Control Replacement

The WT8840C1000 is a trade-use Water Heater Control, designed to replace valves in Rheem Water Heaters. It features a 1.5" insulation tank and a 4" WC setting. This control is ideal for Standing Pilot applications, utilizing an immersion well for precise water temperature sensing. It comes with an integrated NTC temperature sensor, capable of reading temperatures up to 221F (105C). The WT88xx series, including this model, are powered by a thermopile heated from the standing pilot flame. They include matched NTC thermistor sensors in the immersion well, ensuring both accurate temperature control and a safe temperature limit function. This control replaces models WV8840C1406, AP16910E, and SP20832E, serving as a replacement for Rheem 1.5 NG Water Heater Valves.
