This HEI ignition distributor is a replacement for Ford small block V8 engines. It is built with hardened steel gears and routes high voltage from the coil to each spark plug in firing order, timed by the rotor. The cap holds and shields the rotor and its connections.

It is listed for 221, 260, 289 and 302 V8 applications and is not for the 351W. Check your engine before ordering.
