The Dependable Industries Indoor Dryer Vent Kit provides a compact indoor venting option for electric clothes dryers in apartments, condos and laundry rooms where an exterior vent is unavailable and indoor venting is permitted. The complete kit includes a water-reservoir lint catcher, 48-inch flexible aluminum hose and interlocking connectors. The dryer hose attachment uses an interlocking system that connects the aluminum hose without clamps or tools. Its flexible construction accommodates different dryer positions and laundry-room layouts. Before each load, add water to the reservoir to help capture lint from the dryer exhaust. Warm exhaust air exits indoors through the vented lid while lint is directed toward the water below. Empty and clean the reservoir after every use, then refill it before operating the dryer again. The compact dryer vent box measures 11.25 x 5.5 x 5.75 inches for placement in smaller laundry spaces while remaining accessible for cleaning and maintenance. This indoor dryer vent kit is designed exclusively for electric dryers and must never be used with a gas dryer. Follow the dryer manufacturer’s instructions and applicable local requirements.
