This mass air flow MAF sensor is a replacement unit for the Ford Excursion and F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty trucks listed in the specifications. It sits in the intake path, after the air filter and before the throttle body. The sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine and sends a signal to the engine control unit, which sets the fuel amount to match the air flow.
The housing is aluminum and the body is made of PBT with 40% fiberglass, in gray. It has 6 blade terminals and mounts with 2 bolts. Replacement part numbers are listed in the specifications for cross-reference.
