• Fixes No-Spark, Intermittent Miss & Sudden Stall Across Multiple Cylinders​ Resolves multi-cylinder ignition faults: one bank dead (single bad CDM), another starts misfiring weeks later (aging cascade), or engine dies above 3000rpm. Failed CDMs leak charge capacitors or open SCR switches. Replacing all at once restores 35-40kV spark on every cylinder and prevents comeback. Bench test old units: 4-pin continuity to ground should show open on stop-wire key-off, closed key-on.
• Bolt-On to Block — Ground Path Is Critical on All 3​ Disconnect battery, remove old CDMs (2× 1/4" bolts each on starboard block face), sand ALL THREE mounting pads to bare metal for clean ground, seat new modules, torque bolts to 35 in-lb, plug 4-pin each, route boots to correct cylinders. Critical:​ CDM grounds through the block—paint/corrosion on ANY pad = weak spark on that cylinder. Reuse stop wires and stator leads. Label boots before removal to avoid cross-firing.
• 827509A10 4-Pin CDM ≠ 3-Pin Trigger — Confirm Pin Count & 2-Stroke​ Critical:​ This 3-Pack is the 4-pin CDM module with integral coil​ for 2-stroke Mercury/Force 30-300HP. Early 3-pin trigger boards and late 6-pin SmartCraft EFI​ modules will not interchange. Photo old module: stamp 827509A10 + 4-pin + epoxy block + 1 spark boot​ = exact fit. 3-pin or 6-pin = wrong generation. If your engine is 4-stroke EFI, this 3-Pack will not fit.
