• A worn inner tie rod end shows up as play in the steering, a vague feel on center, wandering at speed and uneven wear across the front tires. A torn bellow boot lets grease escape and dirt into the rack.
• The bellow boots are replaced at the same time as the inner tie rod ends, because the boot has to come off to reach the inner end. Front toe is set after installation.
