• No Return Line Required — FASTER HOT WATER WITHOUT A DEDICATED RETURN LINE — Install the HBS24-12E pump at the farthest fixture to create a recirculation path through your existing plumbing. Helps reduce the wait for hot water without adding a separate return line.
• Upgraded Thermostatic Valve + Check Valve — BETTER CONTROL OF THE COLD-WATER SIDE — The adjustable thermostatic valve closes the crossover path at the selected temperature to help reduce unwanted warm water in the cold line. The included brass check valve helps maintain one-way circulation. For Smart and Manual Modes, set the pump approximately 3–5°F higher than the valve.
• Three Operating Modes — 3 OPERATING MODES FOR DIFFERENT DAILY ROUTINES — Smart Mode automatically maintains your selected temperature. Energy-Saving Mode lowers the pump setpoint during long idle periods and restores it when hot-water use resumes. Manual Mode starts from the remote or pump button and runs until the target temperature is reached, with no 60-minute auto-off.
• Remote + Adjustable Output — REMOTE START AND 3-SPEED CONTROL — Start Manual Mode from the included remote control or directly from the pump. Three selectable speed levels allow you to adjust circulation output to suit your plumbing system and hot-water routine.
• CERTIFIED PUMP FOR POTABLE WATER SYSTEMS — The HBS24-12E pump is certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 Section 8 and NSF/ANSI 372 requirements, supporting safe potable-water contact and low-lead material requirements.
