This replacement radiator is made to take the place of the original cooling unit on the Mazda CX-7 and drops into the stock mounting position. The core uses aluminum tubes with folded, louvered aluminum fins, and the tube and fin spacing is comparable to the original part.
Extra construction details include aluminum rings at the inlet, ribs inside the tanks, grooves that allow for expansion, and double header plates. Versions with a transmission oil cooler have tanks molded from heat-resistant, high-density polymer plastic.
