• SPECS AND WHAT SHIPS: 4.25 in. overall with a 3.85 in. body, low-lead brass body and push-pull stem, stainless internals at the seal faces. O-rings arrive pre-lubricated with silicone grease. Each of the two kits ships one cartridge, two retainer clips and one white polymer twist cap, and that cap is the removal tool: it threads onto the old cartridge so you can break it loose and draw it out.
• CONFIRM YOUR OLD PART: The right cartridge has a smooth stem that pulls straight out and pushes straight in to work the faucet, with rotation only to mix hot and cold. Pop the handle cap, back out the screw and lift the handle, then read the number on the cartridge or its cap. If the handle sets temperature by rotating from a fixed position, that is a different valve series.
