Key features

  • Wrap evenly around the shaft for higher holding power than set screw style. Clamp style shaft collars have high holding power, do not mar the shaft, and are infinitely adjusable.
  • Made from high strength 2024 aluminum for light weight.
  • Ruland shaft collars have tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity (TIR of ≤.05mm) for proper alignment of mating components. Ruland mates the halves of two-piece styles throughout the manufacturing process for proper fit and alignment.
  • Machined to a fine burr-free finish.
  • Hardware exceeds DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum torque capabilities. Ruland shaft collars are carefully made from select North American bar stock in our Marlborough, Massachusetts factory and are RoHS3 and REACH compliant.

This Ruland two-piece clamping shaft collar is made of aluminum. It is a two-piece clamping shaft collar for applications requiring a stronger holding power and higher axial load capacity than setscrew or one-piece clamping collars. The two-piece design separates into two halves, allowing installation or repositioning anywhere on the shaft without disturbing existing components. It accommodates a greater variety of shaft diameters than setscrew collars and is effective on both hard and soft shafts. It is made of aluminum for resistance to corrosion and tarnishing and is lightweight for use in applications where material weight is a consideration. This collar comes with forged socket-head cap screws for securing the collar onto the shaft. The operating temperatures for this collar range from -40 to 107 degrees C (-40 to 225 degrees F). This shaft collar is suitable for use in various applications, including in the automotive industry to situate components in automobile power steering assemblies, the manufacturing industry to locate components on a conveyor belt system, and the hobby craft industry to hold wheels on axles in remote control vehicles, among others.Shaft collars are rin
