This two-piece kit closes the speedometer opening on a transmission tail housing and is a practical choice for converting to an electronic speedometer system. The plug is CNC-machined from T6061 aluminum alloy with an anti-oxidation surface finish and includes an extra O-ring to help the seal.

The plug takes the place of the original factory connector, so no welding or modification is needed. It is designed for tail housings with a 7/8 in (0.89 in) bore and 17 to 22 gear teeth, and the job requires no special tools.
