• Mount by Battery Box, 2 Studs + 2 Spades, Disconnect Neg First Disconnect negative battery terminal first, locate relay on battery-box bracket (Can-Am left-side common), remove 2 mount screws, photo old wires, unbolt 2 M6 studs (B+ from harness → stud 1, stud 2 → starter cable), pull 2 spade controls (one from ignition START, one ground/chassis), mount new relay, torque studs to 5 N·m, reconnect in same order. Critical:​ this is a 4-terminal relay (2 stud + 2 spade)​ — if your old relay is a 3-post or cube-style with blade plug, different generation, not this SKU.
