The Thrifco 9406516 Dishwasher Air Gap Installation Kit includes the components used to connect a dishwasher drain through an air gap assembly. The air gap creates a separation point in the drain connection to help prevent wastewater from flowing back toward the dishwasher. The kit includes a chrome-cap air gap assembly, a 30" dishwasher drain hose, a 30" garbage disposal discharge hose, and stainless steel clamps. The 5/8" inlet connects to the dishwasher drain hose while the 7/8" outlet provides the discharge connection. It can be used for new dishwasher air gap installations or when replacing existing air gap hoses and connection components.
