The Dishwasher Door Latch Actuator lifts the door strike of the appliance to unlatch the door when the handle is raised. This part is constructed from durable black plastic and measures approximately 3" in length x 3" in width. If the existing latch is damaged and you’re unable to open or close your dishwasher door, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Please note that if your dishwasher door isn’t properly latched, the appliance will not be able to initiate the wash cycle. This high-quality and durable replacement part is easy to install using basic hand tools, such as a multi-screwdriver. It requires some disassembly of the dishwasher but can be completed with novice repair experience. Before installing this part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety.
