This wired hub gateway brings Zigbee and Thread devices together so they can be run from one unit in your home. It has a built-in Zigbee signal transmitter, designed to reach devices through walls and across multiple rooms. You can control linked devices from the companion app on your phone, and set up scenes that trigger several devices at once.

Setup needs a network cable connected to the unit and a phone on a 2.4 GHz WiFi network, since 5GHz WiFi is not supported. The hub does not work with devices that use WiFi and Bluetooth protocols, and not every Zigbee device is compatible, as it must support boundary routing. Voice control through voice assistants is available once Zigbee and Thread devices are connected.
